
Miriam Nice is a freelance food and drinks writer, presenter and illustrator.
Author of Cooking Without a Kitchen, 2013 and co-wrote The Art of Drinking Sober, 2020 with Richard Davie. Miriam worked for BBC Good Food for 7 years (2014-2021) and has presented many of their podcast series as well as writing a regular drinks column, and penning over 400 recipes. She has always been an avid foodie but her passion for cooking was amplified at the age of 17 when she got her first job at French Living, a family run French café and restaurant in her hometown of Nottingham.
Miriam graduated from Norwich University of the Arts in 2006 with a BA Hons. in Graphic Design/Illustration. Having moved to London in 2011, Miriam now writes her own blog and has written for Great British Chefs, Zlimm123, Jackie Magpie and Eat Me Magazine. In 2012 Miriam launched Taylor & Nice with fellow caterer Bradley Taylor, providing bespoke events catering.
